The Rio-Antirio bridge is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world, it links the Peloponnesos near Patras with Antirion on the central mainland of Greece. It crosses the waters of the Gulf of Corinth at its narrowest point, before it widens to spill into the Adriatic.
